Hello All

We get so many articles with HTML in the content. HTML will not resolve itself in the WYSIWYG editor. If you want to add links you have to use the link function in the article submission form. Up until now we have been editing articles with HTML in the content and constructing links, however, we receive so many articles nowadays that we can no longer do this.

If an article contains any HTML, it will be rejected. Always use the editor functionality to build links, bold letters, underline, etc... It works just like a wordprocessor.

Hello All

We now have over 60,000 articles in the database on virtually every subject imaginable. These have been contributed by you amazing authors, now totalling over 6,300. Keep them coming.

The most amazing news this week is that Article Land has broken the Alexa Traffic barrier of 200,000!!! The ranking is actually 186,033 and climbing (or declining in this case, as lower is better).

Thanks to all you lovely authors and as always keep those articles coming and we'll continue to publish them.

Articleland now has over 50,000 articles in the database, well almost 51,000 now. We also have over 5,500 active authors. The site is also being visited by more and more people everyday, notice the Alexa Rank, we are almost below 250,000 (lower is better).

The top articles have been viewed over 4,000 times each and there are literally hundreds of articles with over 1,000 page views. So keep them coming, and as always, we'll keep publishing them.

Excellent news!!! We have broken the Alexa 300k barrier for the first time. This is quite an achievement and the weekly average is showing that we are still improving. Excellent time to get your articles into our database as they are obviously getting lots of traffic.

Not sure if you are aware of the fact that Article Land offers a free Blog function that automatically pings the best Blog directories when you click submit. Easy one click marketing. If you are not using it you are missing a marketing trick.

Also Social Marketing. This is true Web 2.0! To get more traffic to your articles, go to them on Article Land, then use the Social Bookmarking functions. Ensure you sign up for accounts at each site first. Social Bookmark your articles and articles from other authors as they will do the same for you if they think your articles are of note.

What this does is give your articles extra exposure across the web, as the more bookmarks they have the better rank they will get in the Search Engines. Our system allows you to Social Bookmark on 40 -50 Social Bookmarking sites. Go for it and watch your traffic explode.

Hello All

We now have over 4000 active authors supplying us with articles. In addition those articles now total almost 30,000! Amazing!

The site is getting excellent traffic too, over 60,000 unique visits in January and it's continuing to rise.

PS: Have you been watching the Alexa Rank, it's getting lower every week. (Lower is better if you're not aware of it). We're closing in on 300,000. Watch this space.

Hello All

After upgrading the software running the site on Monday, some people were experiencing problems when trying to submit articles. They weren't seeing the WYSIWYG Editor and therefore were unable to add content.

This problem has been resolved, it was a simple cacheing issue. However, if you are still experiencing this problem, please let us know via the 'contact us' link.

Just yesterday we completed the purchase of www.articleland.com from it's now previous owner Mr. XXX. The sole reason we chose to do this was to protect the Article Land brand. What this means for you, the authors, is that all traffic that was going to that site has been redirected to www.articleland.co.uk.

So in real terms, your articles are going to get even more exposure than they did yesterday.

We now have over 3000 authors actively submitting articles to Article Land. In addition to that we have over 20,000 articles in our database.

Traffic has taken a major leap forward in the past month, we are now getting well over 2,000 hits every day the figure is averaging 2,300, of which 1,800 are uniques.

Your articles are getting lots of views, the top article has been viewed over 3,000 times.

Firstly, we operate a reciprocal linking process. Articleland is PR3, a great site to link back to your own. If you run a reputable website and want to exchange links, goto our links page, see top menu.

Secondly, we have partner sites that are waiting for your submissions. http://www.informationbooth.net is an article directory similar to articleland and http://www.crazylinker.com is a web directory where you can submit your links for free. Go check them out now.

Thirdly, we offer adsense revenue sharing. Just input your adsense ID into your profile and 1 in 5 clicks on ads shown adjacent to your articles will be credited to your adsense account.
