Since Parga is so small, you do not have to worry about needing transportation unless you visit the surrounding areas. It is nice to be able to walk around the area and see the sights. If you want to visit the beaches Valtos and Lichnos, you can either walk or take the short boat ride across the water. You can rent a scooter or even a car if you want to venture to the outskirts of the town for your holiday to Parga. You can take a walk around the area where the fortress is located. There are paths to walk on so you probably will not se any of the snakes that roam the grounds.

If you want to visit the Anthousa village, you can take a bus to get there. You will see the Ali pasha castle. The grounds around the castle are exciting to see and the view of the surrounding area is beautiful. The ruins are what are left of the castle, but it is still something to see. If you like to walk, you will enjoy a walk around the olive tree gardens and the orchards. It is really a beautiful area to see. Parga is a small but unique little town.

Make sure to include a visit to Nekromanteio Efyras when you take your holidays to Parga. This is perhaps the most unusual place to see. This is where the people used to communicate with the dead so many years ago. It is something that you must see in Parga. You can take the kids for a ride on a mini train. The tour is about two hours long and seats forty people at one time. The train does stop along the way for a refreshment and to stretch your legs a bit. This exciting venture allows you to see the different scenery along the way that you do not see by bus or on foot.

You might enjoy a day trip to Sivota to see the harbor, which has so many restaurants and cafes as well as taverns to sit and enjoy the view and a few refreshments. Back in Parga, you will find Greek cuisine as well as a place for something a little familiar. Pizza joints where you can get a fine tasting pizza. If you love pizza, you will just love the pizza in Parga. They seem to have pizza making down to a science. They have the best pizza in Greece.

The nightlife is not what one would expect from a tourist destination. The nightlife consists of a dinner out at a restaurant and some drinks afterwards. This is probably why Parga is so popular with families. You will enjoy your holiday in Parga whether it is for the beaches or the relaxation. There is a sense of peace and tranquility in the little town. Everyone enjoys this quaint little town and what it has to offer. If you need more excitement, you can always take a small trip to one of the other villages and towns.
