Legal DNA Testing Required for US Immigration Cases

Legal DNA testing is fast becoming a prerequisite for completing most US and UK Immigration applications.

With the United States Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) requiring the existence of a blood and legal relationship between the applicant and a US citizen, DNA testing has become a viable means of verification, in the absence of adequate primary records.

In such situations, US & UK Immigration will require participants to seek the services of an AABB (American Association of Blood Banks) accredited genetics lab, such as DNA Worldwide and in the UK and ISO 17025 certified lab.

As an active member of the AABB Parentage Accreditation Program & ISO 17025, DNA Worldwide follows the strict procedural guidelines and regulations set forth by the AABB,

while keeping the costs of legal DNA immigration testing at a minimum.

DNA Worldwide establishes a stringent chain-of-custody with our network of

more than 3,000 collection locations worldwide, and makes all necessary arrangements with designated collection agents.

Appointments and other arrangements are made by DNA Worldwide staff within 48 hours of order placement.

Once the collection process is complete, DNA Worldwide receives and processes the samples, notifying participants according to their requested method as soon as results become available.

As always, DNA Worldwide’s Client Services representatives are available to provide assistance with this—or any other—testing process. Our goal is to make the entire procedure as smooth and painless as possible, for both our account customers, and their clients.
